Mac Mavericks

Combining my passion for design and technology, I taught myself isometric drawing to illustrate Apple’s computer history. Mavericks defy norms,and this series alludes to Apple’s status as a tech pioneer while echoing the 10th release of their operating system, OS X Mavericks. Duration: 5 weeks

Roles: Concept development, illustration, isometric drawing, copywriting

Deliverables: 12 isometric illustrations 

Tools: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop


Process



In showing the difference between my initial rough version of the Apple I and iMac G4 shown above, I believe it is clear how much progress I made in better understanding the level of realism I wanted to illustrate and the isometric perspective.
